IDEA: Real eSports experts bet with Betway
This commercial won’t mean much to anyone other than the target market of hardcore eSports enthusiasts. Basically, the chicken character in Counter Strike is a bit of an ongoing joke. But has been there since the game began. So the idea is that the chicken, as the ultimate expert, would bet with Betway.
I wrote this commercial and was chosen to direct it. Mainly because there was no money. The interesting thing is that I also directed the in game characters. We got pro Counter Strike players to recreate epic hits and then move the camera around the action in game. It was cool!
